8:00 AM - Start your day with breakfast at one of the many cozy cafes in the town of Woodstock, such as Mon Vert Cafe or Mountain Creamery.
9:00 AM - Visit the Calvin Coolidge Homestead in Plymouth, Vermont. This historic site is the birthplace and boyhood home of the 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge. You can take a tour of the homestead, learn about Coolidge's life and presidency, and explore the surrounding grounds.
11:00 AM - Head over to Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont's "Little Grand Canyon". Take in the stunning views of the gorge and the Ottauquechee River from the bridge or hike down to the bottom for an even closer look.
12:30 PM - Grab lunch at Simon Pearce Restaurant, located in a beautifully restored mill overlooking the Quechee Falls. Enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking views of the waterfalls.
2:00 PM - Visit the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) in Quechee. This non-profit organization is dedicated to education and research about the natural world, and features exhibits on local wildlife, live animal demonstrations, and outdoor nature trails.
4:00 PM - Head to one of the area's ski resorts, such as Okemo or Killington, and take a scenic gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding Green Mountains and take in the fresh mountain air.
6:00 PM - End your day with dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in the area, such as The Copper Grouse in Manchester or The Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn.
